Hi everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Amy, I enjoy quilting. I also enjoy to treadle my quilts. I also just purchased my first hand crank sewing machine, it's a singer fiddlebase. Are there other vintage sewing machine lovers here? [I've been told that the 2 hobbies go hand n hand]. I'm looking for info on how to clean my vintage machines so if you can help it would be appreciated. Thanks, AMY |

Hi, Amy, welcome... you are sure to enjoy it here and find fans of vintage machines too.
I have an 1935-or-so Singer Industrial machine that is my absolute favorite for robust reliability. It was a VERY good investment! |

Hi Nan,
I'm excited to meet others who also quilt withvintage machines. One of my favorite pastimes is to treadle with my 1905 Davis MT and make quilts. Most quilters around here like their New embroidery machines. I have an embroidery machine but, I'd still rather treadle. Amy from New York farm country |
