Newbie!!!!
 

Hi my name is cindy from chicago area. i am a nw quilter/sewer since july of 2008 when my DH bought me a machine. i have taken 1 class and completed a total of 2 quilts! i reaaly enjoy the hobby but have soooo much to learn. a few months ago my sister - in- law GAVE me a Gracie 2 frame. it was never used, just sat in her basement to 2 years untouched. i am totally intimidated! have looked for tutorials and help to try to figure out how to use it - any advice? my second quilt i actually used the frame with my short arm viking machine. i was very frustrated. didnt seem to move smoothly. am tempted to go back to free motion. Thanks. am lookomg forward to learning from all you EXPERTS out there. :shock:
