Hi to everybody, :D
I have just now discovered this site. I think it is great. Hope to meet some of you on chat. I am not new to sewing, but I am new to quilting. I have made a few blocks in my time, but I can never seem to get them all together for a quilt. Well, perhaps with chatting with my new friends, I just might get one done. hnyb

Welcome! I hope you find quilting to be satisfying as I have. Good luck on your first quilt.

Welcome from North Central Pa. This is a wonderful place to meet new friends, share our addiction (quilting), get great ideas and advice. I am rather new myself and don't know what I would do without these folks!

WELCOME from IN! I make blocks just to learn and move on to the next one, so you're not the only one. You'll get there, we were all newbies at some point. Not to worry, you'll pick up lots of encouragement (and plenty of ideas for a to do list also!).

If you have blocks completed, you can always do a sampler (or donate them).

Hello and welcome from an Iowa girl    . You know you can take one of those finished blocks--make a pillow, wall hanging, table mat or put several together for a lap or sofa quilt. Then project isn't as daunting as a full size quilt.

Welcome to the group. You will LOVE it here. I have been on for just over a year and I have learned some things I never knew, plus the picture section is wonderful! You get to see what others have done, and you get new ideas too.

I have a challenge going right now. The post title is "Who's up for another UFO challenge?". It is in the main section probably on page 2 or 3. If you join in on that, it might give some inspiration.

Happy Quilting.

Thank you for so many idea's. I am currently working on my profile and as for pictures, I havn't figured that out yet. But will learn in a hurry. Today I am taking one of my blocks and put some kind of covering over it and turn it into very pretty mouse pad. This is just for my laptop mind you. Any mice I might have around here can make their own pad. Love hnyb.
