Newbie

Hi from South Dakota. My name is Judy
I am a mom of 5 grandma of 10. I have been quilting for a while now but always love to learn more and meet new people. Hoping to be able to finish a quilt soon to post pics.
But I have a question. Our house is small so I claimed the basement for my sewing but I wonder if I am the only one who has material and items in other rooms also lol.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. I keep all my sewing stuff in my sewing nook unless I am doing hand work. Hand work I do in my favourite chair while watching TV.

Welcome!
Only recently do I have a room for quilting. I put up my sewing machine in a corner of my son's room till he complained of the mess. I looked around the room and asked him if he really thought my mess was getting in the way of his mess!
So off to the basement in a small corner of the laundry room I went. I told everyone they could not complain of my mess there. However part of the closets throughout the house were used for quilting supplies.

Welcome from Wisconsin. I have 2 rooms of stuff so far, but soon I'm moving it all into the basement. Expanding seems "normal" to me!

Hello Judy, welcome from northern California! Oh yes, I have fabric and sewing supplies in different rooms. It is a small house, too, and I have utilized every bit of space that I can. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your next quilt!

Hello I'm Andie from Salt Lake City, Utah. I enjoy quilting and embroidery. I also enjoy reading about quilting and embroidery, almost to the point where I'm not getting anything done! Uggh! I'm always looking for new quilt designs and projects to work on. So, if you know of a quick easy quilt that can be made over the weekend, please let me know. A friend of mine is moving and I've got to send her to her new home with a new quilt! :-)

Welcome from OHIO! I have a room of my own in the basement, but when I added my quilting machine, it had to take up residence outside my room, in what used to be the family room! :D
