Hello,
My name is Mandi and I am a total newbie. I just sewed my first quilt top this afternoon using the jelly roll race tutorial. Now I can't stop thinking about all the projects that I want to start! I have literally been driving my husband crazy watching quilting videos on YouTube for 3 days. (I was waiting for my jelly rolls to come in the mail)
Anyways, I am 24 years old and my husband and I live in Washington state. He has 3 children from his other marriage but we have no children of our own. I am currently a homemaker and decided to try quilting to keep me busy. My Grandmother got a new sewing machine for her birthday and she has been kind enough to let me use it whenever I want. In my spare time I love spending time with my husband, step kids, and family, cooking, watching Food Network, and spending time in the pool.
