My name is Donna and i am 38 and from the UK.
My Mum is a member of this forum and said i should join as she has got me into quilting.

I have made a few different blocks and am in the middle of making my first lap quilt.

Hope to get to know you all better, no doubt i will be shouting for help every other day lol

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies.
I had a look at the blocks of the month yesterday, so guess what i have been doing all day today, yep you guessed, making them lol.

They are now finished. I tried my best. As i said i am only a beginner. I have put my pics in the blocks of the month threads, because my Mum said that i HAD TO lol.

Welcome aboard! I love this forum and I am sure you will too. I think it is great you and your mum share the hobby. I am fairly new here too. I am new to quilting altogether. I love the BOM but have only done 2 so far but I agree with you that the first one was easier than the Crystal. That one tested my sanity. Again welcome and look forward to being your friend.

I am glad someone else thought the same. I was ready for throwing the crystals one through the window lol

I get a sense that one block is always a bit harder than the other with the BOM. I'm looking forward to getting started on February's and can't wait to see what everyone else does. :D

Hey, Donna, glad you were able to get back on the forum. :lol: My computer crashed and I needed a new hard disk, and then I had to rebuild all my connections. Couldn't remember all my user names and passwords! I now have a list! And that is the very worst thing you can do, but it was so frustrating not being able to go where I wanted to go! :?
