Hi to all the newcomers! Welcome to a group of quilters---some of the kindest and warmest people you will ever encounter. I am Janet from Chattanooga TN and have found much encouragement from this group as a newcomer. I wish I could have everybody over for coffee and cake for great discussions and laughter--- face to face that are otherwise held on this website. Matter of fact could you all come Friday at 7 for coffee? ha

I have a cousin in CDA so I know what you mean. We're hoping to get up there and visit them at their lake property on Hayden Lake sometime this summer.

I'm in south central in Grandview, small agricultural town between Yakima and the TriCities.

I see from my message I forgot to say East, but not hard to figure out. Yes, we are in Spokane County. Close to Liberty Lake (city). Newman Lake is a referred to as a community, but we do have our own post office. This is go show how small town we are. The second Chirstmas we were here, we got a call on Christmas eve morning from Sherry, the Post Master, telling us we had a package at the post office, and was to big to put in our mailbox. We don't get home delivery and use a community mailbox at the gate to our development.
We were so surprised to get the call. Everyone is so nice around here. We did go pick up the package.
