Newbie from Wisconsin

Hello all,

I'm new to quilting and sewing in general, but am looking forward to learning as a way to connect more with my mom and do more activities together. She gave me her beautiful Singer Featherweight to learn and begin with, and I can't wait to get started. I'm hoping to craft some simple projects to get me going, so any hints and tips are more than welcome!

Hi neighbor,
You'll be able to pick up a lot of wonderful info from QB.
If you need some sewing/ quilting classes check out Craftsy.com. I have picked up several over the past year and find them helpful in both sewing & quilting. Have fun!

Great idea, thanks!

Welcome from SW Ontario, Canada. Measure and cut carefully and make sure you have an accurate 1/4" seam allowance. It will make a difference.
