nice to have a new place to go for quilting stuff -- this seems like a very interestng place to be. i'm not quilting right now ..... but am putting a new sewing center together in my very little back room. no more lifting the machine up and then off my table. i'll have all my stuff grouped together. handy.
my sister started me quilting several years ago so i could make quilts for my family members -- i made 14 quilts and now have many ideas for making more. before that, just over fifty years ago, i sat down with my neighbor over a quilt stretched over a room-sized frame and helped the group finish handquilting a gorgeous quilt. these kind ladies gave me pieces of material and showed me the process for making a baby quilt. that was then.
