Hello all I'm new on here but find this site very interesting and helpful. I am also new in the quilting world with lots to learn yet so will probably have a thousand questions for all. As soon as I can figure out how to post a picture I will show my first project. :)

Stitcher Jen 09-02-2009 11:06 AM

Hey, we can ask questions together. I'm new too! Welcome!

Maryanne 09-02-2009 11:08 AM

Thank you for the warm welcome! Can I assume that to post a picture I click on attach files?

dvseals 09-02-2009 11:24 AM

*Waves from Iowa* :)

Yes click attach files and don't preview before posting or it will lose your pics.
Also it prefers pics that are no more than 800x600 pixels and .jpg format :)

Maryanne 09-02-2009 11:29 AM

Thank you again.

Hi: I am also from Georgia. What area of Georgia??I am near the East Coast.

Welcome tothe Board

Maryanne 09-02-2009 07:10 PM

I'm at the southern/eastern tip just before Florida. Jacksonville is about 40 miles away.

joyplace 09-02-2009 07:17 PM

Thanks.........I am 70 miles west of Savannah. Near I-16.. I have been quilting about 3 years......Did not start until I retired.......Enjoy very much.........Machine piecing, hand quilting............Member of two quilting groups. Most of our quilts are for charity........

Maryanne 09-02-2009 07:21 PM

I have just started learning in the past year and its amazing how much I have learned. When I first started it was overwhelming and most all the quilting terms were Greek to me! A handful of ladies and I started a craft group and we also do a lot of charity work.

Moonpi 09-02-2009 10:02 PM

Welcome from Florida! I look forward to seeing your works!
