Welcome from California! I totally understand about needing to get away from a frustrating quilt project. (I tried to change the dimensions of a block to go with some other 4 patches I already had made----what a mistake.I think I've got it right now but it took several "trys" LOL. But, it has been a learning experience and this morning I'm ready to get back at it!)

Don't lose heart! You've definitely come to the right place. I just started learning to quilt this year (I didn't know how to sew at all when I started) and the wonderful people here are kind, helpful and encouraging. Check out the tutorial section and the picture section gives me inspiration to keep on learning. The wonderful folks here never consider anything to be a "stupid" question. WELCOME from NE PA!
