I have 2 with fabric stacked up ready to cut, 1 that I'm piecing, 1 that I'm in the process of stitching the applique down on and 1 ready for the Long Arm.
Sounds like pretty normal behavior to me! |
Hello from northeast Georgia. You are just like the rest of us!
As for thread, just don't buy any 4 spools for $1. |
Hi Tamara, welcome from N.E.Ohio.

Hello and welcome from Michigan!!!

[quote=TamaraAW]I am fairly new to quilting, but I find it hard to finish a project without starting a new one. I finish about one quilt a year, but have fabric, some cut and ready, some partially sewn, a couple close to finishing. Is it common to have several projects in the closet, and switch back and forth?
I am fairly new to quilting myself, but I giggled when I read your question. I am working on 2 quilts at the same time right now. Last week it was 3. And I'm planning/thinking about my next 2 projects. Welcome to the board from Ohio! |
Another welcome from SW Iowa ----and I think "normal" is a setting on a washing machine......
|
What is "normal"? I think I am normal, but others disagree with me.

Although I've been quilting for 6 years I still consider myself a novice in many ways. Welcome aboard and it might help if you set a goal for a project..some good friend you want to surprise or family member you want to gift a quilt or table runner or wall hanging to. If it helps, make a list and post it in your sewing area.  |
I have only made one complete quilt (Jan. of this year), but I am working on cutting out pieces for 4 with 4 more in the planning stage. I also have some other sewing projects that I am working on for our local Relay for Life fund raiser.
