Hey folks, I've recently stumbled across the forum and thought I'd join up to share my quilting attempts :) I'm very new to quilting and have been googling for tutorials like crazy, I've found some great ones on here that have helped me out a lot.

I mainly sew clothing for my kids but took a notion this year to make them all quilts for Xmas so here I am! One's finished, one's pieced and basted and the others are still in the planning stages. I will put pictures up in the other forum later.

Hi and welcome from Texas. Glad you found us. Your kids will be so pleased to get something made especially for them. One of my first quilts was for my son's graduation from college. It's his favorite curl up and watch tv cover. He said every time he uses it he feels like he's getting a little hug from me...Ahhh! He's such a good kid (man? He'll be 32 on Sunday)!

Welcome Charlene, I too am new to the boards and quilting, but not to sewing, I also, have sewn lots of clothing, and other things....I was hoping to get motivated on the quilting, that is my focus now.
