Hi howdy from Ohio! Whitehouse to be more precise.
I sew because it's cheaper than therapy, and with a retired husband and 2 teenaged boys, I need all the therapy I can get. My loverly sweet son-in-law says I "sew by numbers." Very true. Small kits are all I have time for these days, but that doesn't keep me from adding to my stash. Next projects: Pick up (and pay for) 4 quilts being finished at the local shop; think really hard about the kits I got out west last summer (I'm an NPS Ranger, so we travel in the summer), and my always fall back project--make more Christmas wrapping bags. I make very very simple bags out of all that luscious holiday material and wrap everything that way. It's also very quiet! I can sneak around and wrap presents without anyone hearing me. Hope to meet you all, |
Welcome Anna from Southern California. Quilting is my therapy as well. Where would we be without it? Everyone here loves to see pictures of your work, please share with us!!!

Hey, y'all thanks for the welcome.
I'm now going to spend some quality time trying to upload pics. I've got 4 for today--2 more quilts are at the shop, and I didn't get any pics of the one I did for my sis and bro-in-law. I made it for their 30 anniversary--which was um, well, like 3 years ago. . . Got it back from quilt shop today--she did a fabulous job on it--wow!! Any ways, I'll switch over to the pics forum. Wish me luck. . |
