Nice to meet you all! My name is Karma and I've been lurking, reading and enjoying the beautiful pictures on the site for about a month. I started feeling like a stalker so I decided it was time to climb out of the shadows and say Hello.lol
I absolutely love this forum already! I already have new projects that i have been inspired to create (like Piper's turtle).
I live in the middle of no where and have been quilting off and on since 1997. I have made several quilts and currently have 6 in various stages of done~ness. One for my kinda MIL, 2 i've wanted to do for years, 1 for my Significant other as well as helping my 2 wonderful kids complete their very first quilts.
My kids are 10 and 7 and While they aren't perfect they are pretty darn close. I am a home school mom and my life is Chaotic most of the time. I spend my days taking care of my dad and teaching the kids. Quilty time has been rare but is like a therapy. My daughter keeps asking me why i like it and I always tell her the same thing. With a quilt you can see your progress in life you seldom do.
I look forward to getting to know everyone!
