I am really new to posting & quilting so here goes. I was doing some cleaning & found some old cutains that I had had in my daughters room when she was young(she is now nearly 31). They are gingham squares in pink, green, yellow & blue with lace around them. I thought of cutting each square with a little of the lace around it, then putting a solid color(pink, yell. blu ect..) of each color around the gingham and doing it onto a YO-YO quilt top. I like to do that kind of hand work while I sit n watch tv or when we go camping. Any ideas would be appreciated from anyone! I will be posting a pic as promised when I can take the time to fiqure out how to post a pic. Just finished a cathedrel window quilt, pillow & valance out of denim for my 8yr old grandson. I had seen it on a website months ago and had been saving old jeans for 38 yrs. They are all washed, dried & ready for another quilt or whatever i decide. Now my husband wants one! Thats a laugh since ALL I heard while saving them was"you'll never do anything with them just throw them away!) Yeah, he's eating his words!!
