I have not met Elaine, but will maybe see her in the future. Is she a quilter? Until I retired, I was a Certerfied Media Specialist. I retired with 31 years. This is a very nice place to live.

I don't believe she is, but she is certainly the type of lady who would pick something like this up. La Veta is pretty small, so it wouldn't surprise me at all that you might get to know her. She moved there about three years ago.

I still have about twenty years to go before I retire. This year, I think about how LONG that is with my class sizes hitting close to 40 kids in each. I currently have 144 students in my four classes that I teach. Our poor media specialist spends more time doing lunch duties than up in the library.
