I am so glad to meet you Linda! There are many, many tutorials on this board that will provide a tremendous amount of help to you. Have fun searching through them. We are all here to help. You can also ask to be adopted. I would offer but there are much better and more experienced quilters on this board then me. As stated above, ask away, if one of us doesn't know the answer, guaranteed someone else will.

Linda, this is the place to get help - that's for sure. You can just jump in anywhere and ask your question and they'll get you hooked up to either a new thread or give you your answer right there if it's quick.

Hi! I live in Lincoln, IL and work in Springfield. I'm not a newbie quilter, but still a beginner, making lots of mistakes and learning more with each project.

If you have a specific question about cutting fabric, just ask. Lots of people on the board with a lot of knowledge are willing to help.

Fabriholic 08-15-2010 10:24 PM

Welcome from Chicago-land. This is a great site for any and all quilting info ... and non quilting info, too. Have fun here.

welcome to a great board; the information you gather here will be beneficial like you would not believe. Use the links you see in threads posted and also go the YOU TUBE for some really insightful videos. I have been sewing and quilting for years. And these hints still come in handy. The contributions by the various ladies and gentlemen on the board (especially the pictures) will make you feel like you have spent thousands of dollars in training materials.

Wish you well.
