Hi Linda - I miss all you gals from Martha Washington Guild but I'll be seeing you again when the warm weather returns. Tell everyone I said hi. Just met Yvonne at the quit shop today in Leesburg. Guess what she bought - a QUILT - can you believe that - right out of the window - LOL. Hugs, Pat

It must have been something special for her to buy it. Thought she would have tried to make one. It's starting to rain, so will depend on weather if I go to guild tomorrow. Does not look promising right now. :D

i know; slow; but i think i got one of your blocks in the oriental block swap (you didn't put your handle). I see you are from Pittsburgh. I am orginally from Hamilton, ON Canada and often went to Pittsburgh for a hockey game as I am a BIG PENS fan (check out my avatar :D). I would love to be your quilting buddy :)

PghPat 04-27-2011 02:45 PM

Hi - I was never in that swap - the only swap I was ever in was a table topper swap.

BUT, I would love to be your quilting buddy. I just finished my first quilt - it is a lap quilt. I've made a lot of purses, table toppers, wall hanings, etc but never a quilt before.

I'm wintering in FL right now but will be heading back to Pgh on the 15th.

Pat

Hi PghPat,
Missed you at the MWQG meeting yesterday, but I see you are not home yet. Hope you had a nice winter. Can't wait to see your quilt. Mimilinda

Hi Linda - I just five minutes ago finished putting a label on that first quilt. I learned how to make the label on a posting here last week and it worked just great. I tried once before to print on fabric but it didn't work well.

I'll be home on Monday the 16th but doubt I'll be ready the next morning to make it to guild - I will be there the following week. Hi to all.

Pat
