Hi and welcome to the board. Yes a picture would really help a lot. I think I have seen some of these panels with the flower fairies and quilting around motifs in the panel itself work well with those. For the border it is difficult to say without seeing it. Sometimes a feather design or a vine and leaf would look nice but so difficult to say for sure without seeing what I am talking about. Hope you can get a picture uploaded for us.
