I am so glad I found this site. I've been quilting for several years and am finding out there is much more to quilting than just sitting down to a machine. I just read about sewing swatches, patches, strips together and you have a block Wow. I only knew of using templates and cutting out squares and rectangles and sewing them into a block. There is so much to learn and try different techniques and I can't wait to start.
Thanks,
Denise

Hello and welcome from Ontario.

One of the main things to learn is to limit your time here. LOL! It will seriously cut into your quilting time. I used to find myself spending all day on the computer! Now I try to limit my time to 1 hours and sometimes I even succeed. Welcome aboard from central Illinois closer to the Indiana state line.
