Quilting in the UK
I have found quilting recently and have to say that the bug has seriously bitten me! I cannot get enough of the fabrics and the way they make up.
I am making throws, quilts and cushions at the moment and would like to absorb any and all information. I haven't really found a good forum in the Uk, I dare say there are some... but when I think of quilted throws, my mind instantly goes to what I have seen from the USA. I am so looking forward to learning all I can about this beautiful craft... Sorry, I am still very new and excited about quilting. |
Howdy and WELCOME, from TX!!! It's good to be excited about something that's so much fun! :)

What a wonderful friendly forum!! Thank you for the welcome. I already love the threads on here, and your quilts and throws are amazing. I'm only starting out on 6x6'' squares at the moment and dabbling fitting different peices here and there... I will post pictures soon. From small acorns... great trees grow lol
As for a wish list. I am NUTS on pictures of Montana and long to visit as see for myself. I know the pictures possibly wont be realistic, but the openess, the trees ... wow. On my wish list is a little note to my self to one day stand on a porch of a Montana cabin with one of my quilts wrapped around my shoulders... Better get quilting... lol |
