*** Hi! Y'all from the upstate of South Carolina. *** |
So glad you came back. Hope you can stick around & maybe get back into quilting/sewing & show us what you are doing.
|
I don't remember you, but welcome back. I have followed the postings and comment occasionally, but I, too, have had health issues so I haven't done much sewing.
|
Welcome back! This is such a great forum to read and enjoy. Even if you can't sew anymore, I'm sure you have valuable opinions that others can benefit from.

Alyce, I had heard from the guys you had moved here. Welcome. i hope to be able to get around a bit more then the last couple of years. Do you still have my phone number? It's the same. Maybe we can chat a bit even if I don't feel well enuf to get out.

thanks Lori, how are you doing. I poked my nose into the swap, but it looked pretty quiet this month.

Thanks all for the welcome back. I have accumulated a few more sewing machines including a Rocketeer (DH found that one in Las Vegas) a 301 and 2 (don't ask) 15-91's, a lovely Janome memory craft 6500 all used, of course :), and I bought a great sewing cabinet. Then I got some help from a friend, we cleaned out our junk room and repainted it, got most of my fabric in bookshelves. Then proceeded to get so sick I couldn't budge. I am 2 yrs overdue on 2 baby quilts for friends. Altho one is now backed with fleece and I just need to figure out how to use the fleece as an edging. I'm hoping that my energy level increases and my pain level decreases so that I can get somethings done. I did finish a summer quilt top only to have DH tell me he hated it...in all honesty it is pretty loud:o. We have adopted a nutty rescue dog named Ernie who gets along ok with our rescue cat Ray. Finally....
Anyway, I'm glad to at least be able to poke my nose in to say hi. |
