Hi Angie. I too am relatively new to the site. And I was born well before the 1980's. Been sewing since I was in my early teens.
I have learned many new tricks and ideas from this board. I've also learned that I don't have th time many others do to start and or complete projects. But I appreciate what others do and thoroughly enjoy checking out the pictures. On that note, the pictures give me too many ideas for future projects. But they are lovely quilts. |
Angie, we lived in Georgetown for a long time, but are now at Lake Buchanan. Welcome to the forum. A pleasure to have you.

Hi, Angie. Welcome to the board. I'm Joy from Rogers, and I belong to the Wildflower Quilt Guild in Temple. I know a couple of quilting ladies from Georgetown and absolutely love the Poppy Quilt Shop.

There are a "bunch" of Golden Oldies on here. That's why I love this site. It is filled with "all ages" but we all have a love for quilting. And everyone teaches us something. Some of them don't realize it, because they think it's their inexperience but that's how we learned and we learn new things from them all the time. That's another thing I live about quilting....There is always something to learn and see from the great quilts displayed on here. I "LOVE" looking them! Beauty in fabric.
