I am a male quilter and am often razzed by my male friends because of my hobby (or should I say passiion). I produce on average at least 2 to 4 quilt tops a week. I donate many for worthwhile causes and even have been known to sell my works of art. Currently I am working on getting some of my patterns published in hopes of funding my addiction. My youngest daughter is the root of my obsession as she wanted to learn to sew about 13 years ago and I somehow got pulled into making my first quilt and the rest is history. I have won over 20 quilt ribbons including 1st, 2nd, Best of Class, and 2nd place Best of Show. I retired in 1995 and have been obsessed with quilting since I closed my quilt shop in 1995.
