Hello everybody my interest is old fashion style quilts they have a lot of meaning in them which it is made from the heart I was born in michigan but lived in california most of my life I came here when I was 6 years old and Im 50 now we traveled back and forth from michigan to california and so on.
Iv'e always loved quilts and sicnce I can no longer work I thought I would try quilting I got very Ill and lost my life for 3 minutes and they said I have sleep apnia and congestive heart failure and c.o.p.d and lack of oxigen to my brain I was in the hospitol for a month and had to relearn how to walk and use of myhands and arms I was weighing 341 when I went in the hospitol and now I weigh 285 but still need to lose more weight and hope I can quit using the cpap machine to sleep with at night time well enough of my boring story im happy to meet everybody

Welcome from Europe. Glad you joined us at the board. In january we start making the Dear Jane. Kluedesign is organising this. It's really fun because we quilt together all over the world, from Spain to Guam and everything between it. Quilters united at this board. Maybe you will join us?

I hope your health is better now. A month in a hospital is a very long stay. Also for you happy holidays.

Enjoy, Its not new but what about a Dresden Plate quilt ? There are lots of old fasion type quilts . The Aplle core is another good one and you can get Paper pieces to help make them.
