There's a new quilter in Oregon!
 

Hi everyone! I am a brand new quilter! In fact, I am a brand new sewer! My sister ,the Buslady, introduced me to this wonderful new hobby. She says I am a quick study. I lost my mother May 20th to cancer and I wanted to make quilts out of her clothes as a memorial - one for dad, one for my sister and one for each of the 4 grandkids. We did it! I flew to Michigan and we made 6 quilts in 4 days. The 7th one is mine and my sister is making that one herself and will send it to me. I am heading back to Oregon tonight, with a list.... sewing machine, sidewinder, sissors, material, patterns needles, thread - lots of thread....
You can sleep when your dead, lets quilt!

I'm afraid there is no cure, just loads of enjoyment, pricked fingers, and a well-used seam ripper, which, BTW, I didn't see on your list!! LOL.
