Hello, I have been loving the board. I am Patti from Texas.

I have a couple of questions I know someone can help me out with.

First question--is about thread, do you use quilting thread
to actually sew the quilt or just to quilt the quilt. dumb huh.

Second question -- I have a lot of fabric that is flowers, all different background colors. what would be a good quilt to
make with that.

I am a pretty new quilter. have made 3 tops but not couragous enough to quilt them yet. working up to that.

Thank you for all your help

Patti

Hello and welcome to the board :D:D:D

Quilting thread is typically waxed coated and should not be used in the machine. It will leave a waxy mess
No such thing as a dumb question, though, we all have questions no matter how long/short a time we have been quilting :D:D:D

Maybe a Warm Wishes pattern? It would show off your florals nicely :D:D:D

Welcome from New York state! You won't find out the answers to your questions if you don't ask, and we have all had to ask them at some time. This is the place to do it. Everyone is really nice!

Hello and welcome from Fort Worth.

I'm not sure what kind of flower fabric you have, but I absolutely love this flower quilt.
