Hi Everyone,
I log on to this board just about every day and I have a confession to make ---I have been a lurker for about three years and it is time to come out of hiding! I have been quilting for about 10 years and since I retired a couple of years ago I have more time to spend on my favorite activity. This board is the most friendly and helpful place imaginable. It makes my heart sing to see that we have so many 'man quilters' among us. I have a very supportive husband who will go to fabric stores with me, suggest projects as well as be very interested in the final outcome - be it good or not so good. Velvor, from Calgary, Alberta. |

Welcome to the board! I just lurked for a few weeks too, and yesterday I decided to write. I'm sure I'll just lurk for a lot of the time, but I will enjoy seeing all the new ideas and quilts that people post. By the way, I love your blue and white quilt! Great job.

Welcome to the board from snowy Colorado!

Welcome from Southern California. Once I found this site, I could not just lurk, I had to be there. I love all the information I have acquired from everyone here. I have learned as much from newcomers as from the oldtimers. When someone asks a question, the answers just flow from everywhere and there are so many wonderful people out there.

I love your avatar! What a beautiful quilt. Welcome, from Colorado.

Welcome, fellow lurker. I just came out from the cold myself after about a year of lurking. Feels good to breathe the air, doesn't it?

Hi Velvor,
Welcome from Southeastern Washington State. I, too, have a husband who shares in my interests of quilting and is supportive in all ways. It adds so much to the quilting that I enjoy. So glad you came out of 'lurking' and introduced yourself. Actually, I am not sure I have introduced myself??
