trying to get back into sewing and quilting
 

A long time ago I used to sew and quilt. I was recently made a grandmother for the first time and also retired.
So far I've been busy getting caught up around the house but now feel it is time to get back to sewing and dealing with some pieces and tops that have been in bags for decades.

There are so many new ideas. I'm eager to learn more about new techniques and materials and have enjoyed looking around at some of the current posts and the wonderful variety.
