Hello and welcome to the neighborhood, from WV. You will love it here, everyone is so nice and friendly too. I always thought we were supposed to buy fabric just because we liked it. As my daughter said when she a very young child............"case if". "Cause, case if I might.............." So here I am using her made up phrase to say. "in case I need it in a future project". Works for me!! ;) Then I tell my husband that my stash is his inheretence.

I also found this site last evening and was anxious to get started today. My name is Wanda from Texas and my 11 yr old grand daughter and I are going to enjoy learning to quilt from this website. Will let you know how it goes...

One tip; when I see (and buy) fabric that I love but have no clue what I'll make with it. When you get home put a note on it as to where you bought it at. I've been in the spot where I finally figured out what I want to do with the fabric but didn't have enough to finish it and couldn't remember where I got it.

Hello Wanda...Welcome from Missouri. I too am new and new to quilting. As a "late bloomer" myself, I, too, am wanting to teach my granddaughters.
