Hello and welcome from Michigan!!
|
Welcome from a Florida snowbird from northeast Ohio. I've always understood that a comforter is made with really high batting and isn't as large as a quilt. It usually doesn't hang as far down on the bed. I make my quilts on a husqvara Designer II quilting and embroidery machine because I have nerve damage in my right hand. They're for my grandkids and they love them.
I'm curious why you picked the nickname of Wildfire. Wildfire is the name of the dance team that all 5 of my granddaughters have been since 1993. Now my great granddaughter is doing dance too. |
Hi and Welcome from the NW Florida panhandle!

Welcome from San Gabriel, California

Welcome from MA

Quilts are made with love.
Comforters usually have a tag attached that says "made in ________". |
Welcome from Tallahassee, FL.

Quilts can give comfort, but a comforter can not quilt!!
Who cares really? What matters is that whatever it is called and however it is made (machine or hand), it is made with love. Store bought is not made with love. |
PS Welcome to the board. Hope you find it as informative and friendly as I have.
