I just happened upon this site and am blown away by all the support you all have for each other. I am a fairly new quilter and am looking forward to interacting with everyone. I looked at several tutorials and I think some of the projects are easy enough for me to do without running to my mother for assistance. My mom and I have been quilting together for a couple of years. She is in her 80's and has stage IV breast cancer. We lost my dad to lung cancer and leukemia last year. We used quilting to keep us occupied during hospice, what a blessing to be able to relax and keep busy during the most stressful time in my life. I am so happy I found this site that has other quilters from beginner to advanced. Can't wait to get going on some new projects!
