 My friend introduced me to this website. Glad to be on board. I am a Quilt Judge and Long-armer. I love to hand piece when time allows it. I enjoy meeting others and especially road trips to other fabric shops.

We are always worried about the quilt police.

Does that mean the quilt police can actually bring us quilters to court and you determine our fine for mistakes in our quilts? LOL

I think your expertise will help a lot of us, especially if we want to enter a challenge, etc. Welcome and so glad you joined.

Speaking as a quilt judge, what is your take on the magazines and designers, etc claiming long-time public domain quilt blocks and "designing" derivative works (which they say 'we' can't do without THEIR permission), and then stating that we have to ask permission to show their derivative quilts made with public domain blocks??
