Started sewing November 2022
Hello from southwest Virginia. I just learned to sew and bought my first machine a couple months ago and I am hooked. It is funny because my mother made custom draperies in our house for 40 years so I grew up with sewing. - I think I sewed a dress back when they had home ec in high school and I remember "helping" mom make a Halloween costume for one of my boys. I sure wish that my mother was still alive to see me learning to quilt and to take advantage of her immense knowledge. I do feel her with me in my little sewing room. Thanks for the add.
