Hello there quilters - what an awesome board you have here! So excited to find it. I've been quilting for about 3 years - love it - it is my sanity. I am amazed at how getting into a project or reorganizing my stash, or cutting fabric or just looking through a quilt book or mag can be so soothing on the nerves. Can you tell I have teens?? ha ha ~ Anyways - hello to you~

I also have 2 teenage girls....which means we have tons of teen boys here often. Love the calming effect of quilting as well. Quilters & mothers unite! lol

Hello from Washington! I also have teens, quilting is great for de-stressing! If that's not a word it should be!

Thank you for the welcome and compliment on my mug rug. It was a gift for my Aunt. I was trying something new with adding the giraffe - it was not a design but freehand and I learned how NOT to do some of that again. I am so happy with how he came out though~
