First, I am not a group joiner... never used to be, anyway.
I first learned about this board about a month ago so of course I read what I could whenever I had the time and discovered a great group of quilters who are wonderfully friendly and supportive. I also love the humor this group shows, as well as the willingness to share imperfections... I almost wet my pants with laughter over some of the stories shared that were a lot like things I've done (and still do). I never thought I'd join any online group because I can be very shy, but after reading this board it feels like family... now I feel like I fit in somewhere.

Welcome from TN.
You just have spent your life waiting for the RIGHT group to join!
We do tend to have a lot of fun here. We share, encourage, laugh, eat, spend too much time here, inspire, and are here for each other.
Glad you have joined us and look forward to seeing your work and getting to know you.
