Have you made any quilts for an experiment and don't know what to do with them now? Or ever made a quilt and you really don't like it well enough to keep? I found this link to give quilts to wounded soldiers. Wow, if we all just sent one. . . I know that I sure appreciate our military men and women, and my heart goes out to those wounded.

Sending quilts to wounded soldiers is a wonderful idea. You can also make them to send to the surviving family members when a soldier is killed. I sent 4 off last year to two families in my daughters Army unit killed in Afghanistan while she was there in 06. That is called "Home of the Brave project" There are coordinators across the nation, the information for a pattern and my local contact is www.camarilloquilters.org click on "Home of the Brave Project"
