Yep, the book seems to be a good one to have on hand. I don't mind buying a book or pattern when the author shares the how tos for free. That to me deserves a book sale.

Love the effect since a new beginner. Would like to have a paper copy of directions-any one know where I can get a free pattern?

Is there a way you could make the center larger and the around blocks smaller and still end up with the same design and size?

Interesting question. I don't know the answer but would be interested in knowing the answer. Maybe I'll get a chance to try it tomorrow.
