What pretty quilts for a minimum of time invested! Can't wait to try this technique!

I tried the 10 minute blocks without the book. When I made like 14 blocks I knew I had to have the book. When it came I got carried away and made like 30 of the things!! I made them with black and white blocks with floral inside block. It rarely took over 8-9 minutes to complete one block once you get the hang of it. Good luck to all that gives it a try, I think you'll be happy with them.

Default 10 min, block with split rail fence and daisy accents

I love this idea ! used it for 6 inch finished blocks.. used split rail fence.. watch the rotation of the fabrics if you have a one way fabric..

fun fun fun ! love the tutorial out there.. Got me started and bought both books !

Been wondering if the 5 inch blocks would work. Very pretty. I have made the ten inch block and sashed it in 1 inch strips and I like it a lot.

This 10 minute block was demonstrated at the Lake Huron Thumb Area Quilter's Retreat last fall. I too think that its a very easy pattern to accomplish in a very short time. I've made 2 of them so far. I'm waiting impatiently for this year's retreat!!!!!!!

The first book is called 10-Minute Blocks, by Suzanne McNeill. I have the book, but have yet to try to make one.

Chairjogger, I love your take on the 10 minute block. So cute and interesting. I'm always inspired by the creativity shown on this site.

Wow! All three 10 minute block quilts are beautiful and so different, even though they are all the same method. Thank you for sharing your photos. Wow!
