My quilt teacher told us about this. She uses it for everything on her machine. Even says good for hand applique.
I just cheked shipping to Canada and its only 5.79 for 4 lbs!

Soft Expressions has the thread sets on sale but no single spools. The thread sets are super nice. I found the single large cones of this thread at Red Rock Threads. Both have low shipping.
