Default 1/4 square triangles from charm squares -- slick!

I just found the neatest tutorial about making 1/4 square triangles from charm squares (tho I would think it would work for any size square). Check it out!

like doing those too. learned it on MISSOURI STAR QUILT CO'S site last year. Love all the tips and helps we learn from those more experienced quilters.

Love it! That will sure make things easier - and help use up some charm squares!

I've used this tech, and was very happy with it, moved quickly through my charms....

A while back there was a book that showed how to cut bias strips, sew together and then make hst out of this......Cannot remember who the author of book was....I did not like the idea myself, just thought it was too much work...easier to cut straight strips, use easy angle template and get hst and then sew....I guess there are many ways to do the same thing.

I saw this on Jenny Doan long time ago but no one could explain, so I could understand, what size the squares should be cut to make a particular size half-square triangle. If anyone of you can, please post. Thanks.
