Default Christmas Flag

I just picked up my newest issue of Quilters Newsletter Magazine and they mentioned the free PP Christmas Flag patterns. I had forgotten about them and I thought I would remind everyone else on QB. I don't want to do the flag but I do want to do some of the patterns as tree ornaments. Is anyone else doing them?

Are these free patterns in QNM? I don't remember seeing them both I *did* just breeze through the issue.

Yes Peckish that is is the flag pattern. If you go to their site they have free paper pieced patterns for all the little Christmas designs in the Web Extras.

Yes, and let me tell you there are oodles & oodles of pieces to these patterns......it is a challenge. It began on 7/2 and continues weekly until 11/5. One was very lucky if they saw it in the beginning and were able to do the weekly patterns as they were added to the web site. I have some completed but my machine went in for a yearly maintenence and I am without it for two weeks. I am all caught up with the patterns as far as cutting the paper patterns out and also have the fabric cut and ready to go when my baby gets back from her checkup. Don't know what I will do with this very large quilt but it sure is a challenge for me to complete it.
I found out about the Christmas Flag from the Regina Grewe site out of Germany...it's a really nice website and she also has many, very cute PPing patterns. www.reginagrewe.com
Check it out, you might just find something there to please you.....MaryJane
