    Sue ~ Thank you sooo much for sharing this cute pincushion. Watermelon is my favorite and my DGD also love it and will love making this as she loves pincushions, too. :D

    Sue that is so cute, thanks for the site. It is so nice when others share the new sites they find. I just finished checking this site out, and there are a lot of free download patterns. there. If you check on the quilt for a day section, Wow---- what pics of beautiful quilts. There are so many artistic people who quilt. Too bad I didn't inherit some of this beautiful talent.

    I did my first pincushion according to the directions and wasn't real happy with it..fusing the fabrics made it too stiff..I did 2 more by using a tiny zig zag stitch similar to the second pic I posted and that worked much better and I cut out the fabric layers so it was not so thick also..worked out really well and I used tiny black buttons and liked that better than the fused fabric seeds
