This is a cool picture I found online and I love that thread holder. I wonder if it is handmade or someone used something else to convert it to a thread holder. I have never seen anything like that before. Have you seen them or know how to make them?

    Hi,

You are welcome now I want to figure out what that thread holder is made of etc.

I wonder how many spools of thread it holds?

Am I focusing on the right object? I'm looking at the 3 part piece on the left hand side...I think it's also a lamp! I'm no expert, by any stretch, but I'd guess that it is an example of Tramp Art...mostly wooden objects and lightweight furnishings made from recycled crates, boxes, popsicle sticks, etc... Could be a one of a kind real deal, or it might be a reproduction. It certainly is clever! And if I'm right about it being a lamp (see the finial, see the shape of the shade) then it is really a multi-functional piece of art! Thanks so much for posting...quite inspirational!

    Hi,

Yes the 3 tier on the left side it looks like it holds spoils of thread. What a clever idea! I will do some surfing and see if I can find us more information about it.
