    I love this sites easy quilts pattens - have ordered a couple now - in the process of making the penquin

    Cute - never thought about using counted cross stitch as a pattern for quilts but why not??

    You can block out a lot of patterns with graph paper. And don't keep it all to squares. Use HST+QST's to help shape things up. I think some of the patterns on that site, could be improved immensely if they were used .... which of course, anyone could.
