Thumbs up Easy fix for sliding templates

I read here somewhere, can't remember which section now...about putting tape on a template to make it less likely to slip when you are cutting around it.
I stopped on the way home and bought a box of tape for less than $2.00 and it works Great!!
This is what i bought and now it's much easier to cut out the blocks without having to deal with all the slipping!

I also read this tip. Great to see that it works. I have to go to the drug store today, so I will add this to my shopping list.

I just used the lightweight vinyl protection that is sold by the yard at Walmart. Worked great on the back of my Omnigrid rulers.

Put a dot of clear finger nail polish and then sprinkle salt on it, let dry, shake off the loose salt and no more slippery rulers!!! I've used this for a couple years now, got it here on the QB!!

The transparent medical tape is the best product I've used to keep rulers from slipping. I also use the SlideLock. My ruler isn't moving a smidgen.
