What is a blender --- I see it advertised all the time.

What I call a blender is a fabric that looks almost solid but isn't. Like Moda Marbles, but there are other names/brands.I use a lot of cream blenders. They kind of give a resting place for the eyes in a quilt full of busy prints.

We all learn as we go...or at least I have & do. My avvatar isn't my quilt, but there's a blender in it. Notice the almost solid blue.I sometimes use a busy print, but as long as it looks faded by the main fabrics, works ok.
