It definitely *is* hard to choose!

Those that did well for us last year - the cardinals, the cranberries, the snowflakes... those are the ones that I definitely say "yes" to. And we did well last year with all of Hoffman's blue ones, so I ordered many of those as well.

The red, gold, and green are harder to choose. We have Peggy Toole's "Holiday Flourish 4" group on order, too, and they have a look that's a bit similar to the more traditional Hoffman ones. I really prefer the greens in Peggy's line, so I leaned a bit more toward the reds, golds, and creams in the Hoffman group.

Except... .that some of the green ones, the "medallion" designs, remind me somehow of Celtic designs, which of course got me thinking of all things Irish and St. Patrick's Day, so I couldn't pass those up and...

If you are guessing that I got carried away as usual, you would be right.

The greens are lighter and brighter than last year, more of an emerald-jade shade, no hint of yellow in them. Their blue Christmas fabrics look great! They've brought back their cardinals, and mini-cardinals - same colors as last year - hard to improve on perfection, right? As always there are a lot of blenders too.

Enjoy!
is this a site that you need to join, i have a small piece of one of these, from Nancy's notions, and am wondering what these fabrics sell for ?

I usually don't say this, but I can't say that any of them really appealed to me. I might buy some, but only if asked to use one by a specific person.

:( Nothing's screaming out "buy me!"

No, you don't need to "join" the site! Anybody can browse. Those who have a quilt shop can register to buy by-the-bolt.

Shops who price these fabrics at full retail will probably be charging over $10 / yard for these this holiday season.

We keep our prices less than that (but I think it would be bad form to post them here).

I would love to buy some of the poinsettia fabric when it is available. I want to make Christmas table runners using the poinsettia fabric for gifts this year.

Nice to see the new lines. They are really beautiful. I am so glad to see some of the old ideas appearing in new designs. I always felt Hoffman had the best Christmas fabric but in the past few years it was not as great. Thanks for providing the information,
