Hi everyone,

I wrote a tutorial on free motion quilting on my blog.

http://cadouri-din-inima.blogspot.com/

If you want to see it, maybe you will find something useful.

Have a great week,
Geta

Thanks Getta, your quilts are amazing. Even when you know how to do it you can always pick up hints from everyone. I will switch to pins rather than safety pins. I hate to remove them while quiting. I will also try your holding techniques.

Thanks a lot!

Maria

Geta...thank you....I picked up some pointers and found that my sew over paper method is not quite so weird. Also ordered your book...I'd been looking forward to it, but didn't know it was out yet. Can't wait to read it now! Thanks you talented lady!

Thanks for posting. Your blog is fabulous -- so professional -- and all your quilts are so beautiful and stunning. My heart skipped a beat with each one.

Hi Geta,

Thanks so much for the tute! I picked up some great pointers, and signed up for the give-away.

And Pepe is soooo beautiful. It's obvious that he's not spoiled at all! :P :P    (Riiiiiight!) What a great helper!

I use a lightweight paper (thinner than the paper I normally use with my printer). It will be easier to stitch through it and to remove it after the stitches are done.
Just for comparison:
- the weight of my paper is 60 g/square meter -
- the weight of the paper I use for printing is 80g/square meter -
(I don't know the measures for USA)
